'The St. Mark's Chancel Choir'

The Chancel Choir is open to all adults and high school youth are also welcome to join. The Chancel Choir sings every Sunday at the second service (11:00 am). Rehearsals are every Thursday evening from 7:00 to 8:30 p.m. in the church sanctuary.

Music selections are varied from traditional like Mozart, Handel and John Rutter to more contemporary anthems from composers like David T. Clydesdale, Tom Fettke and Joseph Martin. The Chancel Choir works on music about a month out and new music is purchased periodically and considered for performance.

'The St. Mark's Praise Team'

The Praise Team is open to all adults and high school youth who are interested. The Praise Team performs at both the 8:30 a.m. and 11:00 a.m. services every Sunday. Rehearsals are every Tuesday evening from 7:00 to 8:30 p.m. in the church sanctuary.

Music performed by the Praise Team is from a variety of artists in contemporary christian music to include Chris Tomlin, Matt Redman and Michael W. Smith. Song selections are from standard favorites to today's chart topping hits. At least one new song is presented at every rehearsal for Praise and Worship performance and members are always welcome to contribute ideas and new songs.

'The Praise Ringers Handbell Choir'

The Praise Ringers Handbell Choir is open to all adults and high school youth who are interested. The Praise Ringers perform about once a month at the 11:00 a.m. service. Rehearsals are every Wednesday evening from 7:00 to 8:30 p.m. in the church sanctuary.

Note: St. Mark's has three octaves of Schulmerich Handbells and three octaves of Malmark Handchimes.

'The Liturgical Dance Praise Team'

The Liturgical Dance Praise Team is open to everyone (intergenerational). The Dance Praise Team performs about once every 3-4 months during both Sunday and special worship services. Rehearsals are on Sunday afternoons from 12:15 to 1:30 p.m. after the second worship service.

'The Children's Praise Team'

All pre-K and elementary school children (pre-K through 5th grade) are encouraged to participate.

The Children's Praise Team program meets at 9:45 a.m. on Sunday mornings in the Chancel Choir warm-up room for practice. This program focuses on our children learning the importance of music in worship and singing selections for worship at least once a month.
